It’s the rightly honorable thing for Devon to do that, and I respect the guy that as the leader accepting blame. What’s pitiful are the comments below degrading the man. He’s clearly in guilt and could not be more apologetic, save for running into Paterno’s room and saying it to his face.

Let us not forget, we are Penn State. We as a whole, Devon included.

People are self-righteous and quick to assume they wouldn’t do the same wrongs as another man.  And not everybody will (there will be good-doers), but of all the people who criticise, there are people who do it in egotism and ignorance.
