I hate distance runners who make fun of sprinters/throwers/jumpers etc. They’re working just as hard as you are so stop talking smack.

Well, working hard is completely up to the individual. If they care, then yes, they work equally as hard.

Personally, as a distance team we used to always laugh at the sprint team’s workouts. 4 400’s? Ha so tough. Then, one year he started integrating sprint workouts for the 800/1600 kids, and I learned what lactic acid buildup meant.

Moral of the story, I’d rather do a distance workout of 200’s than a set broken 800’s.
